Who we are and what we do:

We are Wood Thilsted, an ambitious engineering consultancy with focus on geotechnical and structural engineering. We are currently over 90 engineers working on world-leading designs for offshore wind farms around the world (Europe, Asia and North America). We invest in developing our own software and design methods that allow us to challenge and improve the status quo.

What we offer to you as a Graduate:

As a geotechnical engineer early in your career:

  • You will be part of a team working on the planning, design and construction of some of the biggest offshore wind farms in the world.

  • Have opportunities to gain a multidisciplinary range of experience, depending on your skills and interests.

  • Receive close mentoring and support towards chartership with the ICE.

The opening applies for our UK offices (London or Bristol). There may be some travelling in Europe, North America or Asia in relation to your work. Opportunities for short or long-term postings abroad may be a possibility.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Interest and basic knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering

  • A willingness to learn and develop

  • The ability to see engineering problems within their wider context

  • Excellent English and report writing capabilities.
